Best-before dates vary by product and production batch. Some Lyre’s products have a shelf life of up to 24 months from the date of production, but this does not mean they will have 24 months remaining when purchased.

All products sold at full price will have at least 90 days remaining before their best-before date. Occasionally, we may offer short-dated products at a discount. Where this applies, the remaining shelf life will be clearly stated on the product page before you purchase.

A best-before date relates to product quality rather than safety. If your Lyre’s has been stored correctly, the bottle is unopened, undamaged and there are no signs of deterioration, it may still be suitable to consume after this date. However, its flavour and quality may gradually decline.

Once opened, Lyre’s products are best refrigerated and consumed within 12 weeks.

To keep your Lyre’s at its best:

• Reseal the bottle securely with its original cap after every use.
• Do not leave the bottle open or replace the cap with a pourer.
• Take care not to let other ingredients, such as citrus juice, enter the bottle when making cocktails.
• Refrigerate the bottle after opening for optimum freshness.
• Consume within 12 weeks of opening.
